Born in New Jersey and raised in Puerto Rico for 12 years. Soto, and her children Darian and Damir, have made Haverhill home for last six years She remembers her first experience visiting Dinah’s House and the impact it made on her. “I was picking up my son from the school bus, when Reverend Deacon Gay Cox approached me and invited me to come in with my son. She started talking to me about Dinah’s mission, that it was a safe place for women to come in with their children to talk about their problems and needs. So every day after my son came from school we would come into Dinah’s House. My son loved it because he got to know more kids and play with them.” Soon Soto started helping translate flyers into Spanish. Director Kerry Chomic director, recognized her skills and asked if she wanted to work with her as an assistant director to help support the women in Dinah’s. Soto would grow into the role on go on to become Program Director two years later. “One of the reasons I love working at Dinah's House is to see the smiles on the women's faces when we are able to help with their needs,” she said. Programa La Casa de Dinahs Hola mi nombre es Angela Soto y soy la Directora del Programa de La Casa de Dinah. La primera vez que entre a La Casa de Dinah, estaba recogiendo a mi hijo en la guagua escolar cuando la Reverenda diácono Gay Cox se me acercó y me comentó que podía entrar con mi hijo al lugar. Ella luego me habló sobre la misión de Dinah, que era un lugar segura para mujeres y sus hijos donde podían hablar de sus problemas y necesidades. Desde ese día en adelante visitaba todos los días después de que mi hijo llegaba de la escuela. A mi hijo le encantaba ir a Dinah porque conoció otros niños y parodia jugar con ellos. Luego empecé a ayudar a Gay a traducir las promociones en español. Después cuando la nueva Directora de ese entonces Kerry Comic empezó, me ofreció trabajar con ella como asistente del programa para ayudarla a apoyar a las mujeres de Dinah. Luego 2 años después me ofreció el puesto de Directora del Programa. Nacido en Nueva Jersey y criado en Puerto Rico durante 12 años. Soto y sus hijos Darian y Damir han hecho de Haverhill su hogar durante los últimos seis años. Recuerda su primera experiencia visitando la casa de Dinah y el impacto que tuvo en ella. “Estaba recogiendo a mi hijo del autobús escolar, cuando el reverendo Diácono Gay Cox se me acercó y me invitó a entrar con mi hijo. Comenzó a hablarme sobre la misión de Dinah, que era un lugar seguro para que las mujeres entraran con sus hijos y hablaran de sus problemas y necesidades. Así que todos los días, después de que mi hijo regresara de la escuela, íbamos a la casa de Dinah. A mi hijo le encantó porque conoció a más niños y jugó con ellos ". Pronto, Soto comenzó a ayudar a traducir folletos al español. La directora Kerry Chomic, directora, reconoció sus habilidades y le preguntó si quería trabajar con ella como directora asistente para ayudar a apoyar a las mujeres en Dinah. Soto se convertiría en el cargo y se convertiría en Director de Programa dos años después. “Una de las razones por las que me encanta trabajar en Dinah's House es para ver las sonrisas en los rostros de las mujeres cuando podemos ayudar con sus necesidades”, dijo.
